Quest Retail Technology today announced integration with Mocapay’s mobile payment solution to its point-of-sale systems. The first implementation allows fans at the University of Colorado’s 53,000-seat Folsom Field to purchase Centerplate concession items with their mobile.

“As one of the world’s most innovative point-of-sale systems focused on the sports and entertainment markets, Quest is pleased to welcome Mocapay as a cutting edge mobile integration partner,” said Quest CEO Tim Stollznow. “At Quest Retail Technology, we pride ourselves on implementing a fast, easy-to-use service, and Mocapay is a great complement to our solution.”

Beginning September 22, 2007, fans at Folsom Field were able to purchase their favorite fare, including hot dogs, nachos, and sodas, using just their mobile phones. Mocapay’s software has been integrated with Quest’s point-of-sale solution at the football stadium and will be available as an alternative to cash, checks and credit cards.

“As a Boulder-based company, we welcome the opportunity to provide mobile payments to the local community,” said Mocapay CEO Rod Stambaugh.
