Quest has been established for over 25 years, offers a complete range of Point Of Sale (POS) technologies, and has more than 40,000 terminals installed in over 20 countries around the world.

Quest is at the forefront of technology in the design, manufacture and distribution of Point of Sale hardware and Back Office software.  All hardware and software design, development and manufacturing are undertaken in-house to the exacting standards of ISO9001.

Quest was first established in January 1980 as a subsidiary of Quest Automation plc, a technology company listed on the London stock exchange. Since those early days when the company specialized in Computer Aided Design systems for the electronics industry, Quest operations were re-oriented toward Point of Sale, with a particular emphasis on using technology to provide low cost, reliable and easy to use systems.  As a result of many years development in POS technology, Quest believes that it has the widest available mix of integrated technologies for use primarily in the hospitality market. 

Quest Retail Technology now operates offices in the USA, Australia and the United Kingdom, and maintains a distributor network that spans the globe.
